Went out for after work on Friday. Finally I got to try a few new places rather than the same old thing...
First we tried Lilla vinkrogen. I was sold just by the name - great wine, good enough food - better than the normal nachos that you usually get. A bit of a more quiet setting and a little more sophisticated. Very nice!
After that we went to SoHo - nice place, felt a little bit like I was in SoHo in London but a lot bigger with low couch chairs and cocktails. But I am still hating this shit with places FORCING you to hang up your jacket and FORCING you to pay for it. Yes, it is only 20kr but just the principle. Such an easy money-making scam. Pisses me off!
After being quite drunk, we walked down to Lounge on Avenyn to try and meet up with some of my workmates but they were all upstairs in the smoking area since it was outside so it was also cold so I didn't really get to see them much but we were downstairs inside in the warmth with 90s music playing. Had a good time but I got the most disgusting glass of wine which tasted like catpiss, which pissed me off after all the good wine I had been drinking. But since Lounge is more of a club, I didn't really feel like I could complain - regret it now though. So instead we changed to a couple of cocktails but they weren't great either so buzz got killed and we moved on to Sibylla..... yay!
