So since we're leaving Gothia Basket, they terminated the lease on our apartment but since Rhys, luckily, made sure we had an apartment for 2 months after his contract ended, we do have a place to live. However we have to CHANGE apartments!! So yesterday and today we have been packing all night after work. It is a bitch and a half! We basically had to go through everything of what we are going to throw out, what we are putting in storage and what we are bringing to Australia. It is definitely not easy! I have a lot of clothes but I want to keep it all and have it all with me. I am terrible at throwing out clothes. I might not use it every day but I am good at finding use for stuff after a while. Even if I haven't worn something in over a year, the rule says to throw it out but I eventually pull it out and find a way to wear it again (unless it is too small).
I shipped 3 bags over from Australia to Europe (not including the bag I travelled with) which got here in January. Just opened the bags now since they're all summer clothes and haven't even used the stuff. So I could have just left it in Australia. Since it was a mistake to ship them over here, I don't want to make that mistake again and ship them back so now I'm only taking one 23 kg bag to last me a year.
Since most of our stuff is packed (more packing to go tomorrow), we're sitting in our new place with the essentials... TV, internet and a bottle of wine :).
