The tradition of singing at dinner parties when drinking alcohol is a fantastic Swedish tradition, which is done at all major holidays as well as sometimes at our own parties. At university is where the tradition is is at it's strongest and where most of the singing starts during university special dinners.
My mom and her friends went down memory lane last night and sang all the songs they remembered from their university days. There were many. Kids today have nothing on all the songs I heard last night and they were all ones I hadn't heard. My mom and her old university friends really knew/know how to party :).
So much fun! Great night!
