Oslo

Ducked up to Oslo on the weekend. My aunt has lived there for about 4 years but this weekend was actually my first chance of ever getting up there. I actually also a bit ashamed to say it wa my first time ever visiting the neighbouring country. It's quite funny how you travel all around the world but you hardly ever go and tourist around your own area. It was great to visit them though and check out the capital city of Oslo. Didn't feel it was too different to Sweden but it did have some cool things to see. We did all the typical touristy things like

The Opera House

An olden wooden ship (diversity)

Karl Johan (the main street)

Parliament House

The castle (which was surprisingly small)

The guards which take a 10m walk every 5mins - a bit funny and strange if you ask me.

Holmenkollen - the famous big ski jump that they have every year and also where the world championships will be held next year.

Very steep

Quite impressive.

Really cool statues at the Fogner Park. This statue above is made up of all human bodies and it is made it a way that a raindrop can never sit still, it all runs down the bodies.

Also quite exposed and erotic.

Even the gates in to the park had an innapropriate touch

But that's art right :)

As a great memory from Norway, I got some really nice slippers from my aunt as a birthday gift.

So now I'll never forget my nice trip to Oslo :).
