I've been terrible with blogging lately. A lot has been going on and then I left Sweden which means I don't have internet on my phone, which makes blogging more difficult. We're so spoiled these days with having access to the world at our fingertips and when it gets taken away from us, we feel lost - well at least I do :).
So here is an update on the past week.
We moved out and left Gothenburg. We had goodbye drinks on our last night and said goodbye to everyone who has made our time in Gothenburg special. Took the train to Stockholm and met up with my Dad, Madeleine and her family. First time Rhys' mom has met my family, finally after 4.5 years. Unfortunately the weather was not that great and rained for most of the time until Saturday. I woke up Saturday morning looking forward to an amazing hotel breakfast but saw the sunshine and decided to go out for a run around Stockholm. I could not help myself but to take pictures of the view during my run:
The whole town was buzzing since the crown princess of Sweden, Victoria is marrying her Prince Daniel today. The most beautiful wedding I have ever seen and it could not have been more perfect. Everyone had Swedish flags and was so excited and happy for our royal family. Everyone was out on the streets, smiling, yelling as they went past in their horse and carriage. Just a perfect beautiful day.
After Stockholm, we flew down to Belgium to visit my mom. The family reunion continued for Pam. We went sightseeing around Brussels on another beautiful summer day. FINALLY!
Of course we had to see the peeing boy:
And they most exclusive street in the city which is of course named after me :).
