Since I'm living out of one suitcase, I don't have too much stuff with me and have unfortunately narrowed down the shoes, since they weigh the most, so I only have one pair of flip flops and a pair of high heels with me. However, just when I arrived in Gothenburg, the summer decided to change to autumn so I felt a bit silly walking around in flip flops and I wanted to walk in to town so I wanted to wear comfortable shoes. So I went through J's closet, where I'm staying and found a pair of old white casual sneakers and thought I would fit in with the Swedish fashion with them on. Half way down to town, my feet were already hurting and I had huge blisters on my feet. But the worst part was that I felt really uncomfortable walking in someone else's shoes. It is not my style to wear a cute outfit with sneakers. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with that style, every other person in Sweden will wear a really cute dress and even a nice blazer or something and match it with low casual sneakers. But for me, I feel like they are two different styles and when I put they sneakers on, I'm more ready to run a marathon than go out on the town.

It does look good on a lot of people but it is just not my style. I think I will stick to my flip flops even if it is raining.
