Basketball is back

Being so used to always watching basketball, I have missed it a little bit. If it's not the league Rhys is in then it's the NBA and BOTH have been in off-season for the past 3-4 months but they are slowly crawling back into my life.

This year I'm the number-one fan of the Adelaide 36ers and they had their first pre-season game last night against the Townsville Crocodiles. Went to watch it at the Dome with my girl S and met the other WAGs (wives and girlfriends) there.

Great night and we won by one point. A bit of a nail-biter towards the end. Just a bit depressing when key-forward, starter and our flatmate, Nathan Herbert, went down with a knee injury. Going to the doc today for a scan, let's cross our fingers that it's just a sprained medial! Poor guy, injured before the season even starts! Good luck Herb!
