Not a golfer

Woke up with the sun in my eyes. It was a beautiful day and it was definitely a day to spend outside. Over breakfast, Rhys asked if I wanted to go play golf. I remembered last time I played, I was quite good and had a lot of fun so I replied with an enthusiastic "Yes!".

It was a gorgeous day and i was ready for a great round.

However, I must have dreamed about the time I was good and had fun playing golf because even from teeing off from the first hole, I was terrible! I am not used to being bad at a sport and this wasn't just bad, it was horrifying, appalling and embarrassing!

This definitely did not make it fun either - yes, I am the worst loser. We ended up only playing 9 holes but I was such a popper that I actually only played 4. I probably still hit the ball as many times as Rhys did on his 9 holes though. Like Rhys' mom says: "Golf is the perfect way to ruin a great walk".

I think I will leave this sport for Rhys to play when I'm out with the girls, at least until I can't run around a court anymore. No British Open for me anytime soon.
