I've been on Twitter for a couple of years now but have only started to really enjoy it in the last few months. While at University, they said this was the way of the future and if you wanted to be involved in any kind of media work, you really needed to know about it. However, it did take me a while to get into it and I know some people are still lagging a bit but I have noticed more and more on how it can be used as a great marketing tool. Also it is great to update my mom and others that follow me or check my blog regularly on what I'm up to.
It is also awesome in the way that when I bought the InStyle Magazine last month, which is probably my favourite magazine, I wrote a tweet saying that I was reading it and tagging @InStyleMag in my tweet and last week @InStyleMag tweeted "Congrats to @louno - our first tweet of the month winner! You've won fab pair of Peter Lang earrings - worth $250!"
After some tweets back and forth, I received my earrings in the mail today!!! How cool is that??? Get on Twitter peeps!
