Saturday, my volunteering job for the Adelaide Fashion Festival started so I was at the Morphetville race course promoting and raising awareness about the festival. It was an awesome set up. It was a fashion show of racing dresses designed and made by second year TAFE design students. Sone great dresses and some leas great. However, everyone who attended dressed up in their best fashion, which also had some hits and some misses. Great couple of hours though!
After that I went to a trade show with a different colleague to see what we could get for our auction coming up at the end of November.
Saturday night then ended up awesome by meeting up with my friend T, who I haven't seen in over a year! I know her from Rhys' home town and when we used to live in Melbourne. It was great catching up with her with some Chinese and a glass of red. It was like we had seen each other last week rather than over a year!
Sunday, I went back in to the office to help out a little bit before the big game, the Adelaide 36ers vs Wollongong Hawks. Unfortunately it didn't end up the way we wished and we lost in the end. Big shame, it felt like we had the energy and we were with them the whole game but we just couldn't really get on top of them and the last quarter was a bit ugly. The night ended up with a table of 25 people at LaVita restaurant who donated to our auction. Very grateful! Lovely family restaurant! Go check them out on Grange road.
Although busy but fun weekend! Now back to the start of the week...
