Romance in Altea

Friday night, Rhys and I headed up to the old town (pueblo antiguo) in Altea. It is probably one of the most beautiful areas I have ever been. It is a bit of a hike up the mountain with many small steps and a white stone ground. Once you are up there, there are many small shops with beautiful silver jewelry, hand-made original clothes, art and much more. The whole area is surrounded by a beautiful church, which is the signature building for Altea. It is at the very top of the mountain. We found a restaurant which looked great on the menu but it was actually not that great, which was a bit of a shame but the place is so romantic and beautiful that I just love being up there. This was the first time that I actually had a boyfriend up there so I could enjoy the romance :).
